Our club was chartered in 1979, and since that time, has undertaken many successful projects that have contributed to community betterment. Some of these are:

• The construction of the Bluebell Manor in Riondel
• Provided insurance for the Seniors Bus
• Local projects in support of community life or needy individuals
• Support of Christmas Hampers
• Ongoing support for the B.C. Lions Society for Children with Disabilities.
• Support for Emergency Response Units
• Donations to scholarships at the Crawford Bay school.

Lions are an international network of 1.3 million men and women in 205 countries and geographic areas who work together to answer the needs that challenge communities around the world.
