Our club started with a vision from a great man, 5M9 District Governor Jim Arvidson! Jim contacted several women and asked if they would be interested in starting a womans Lion club. With much persistence, the first meeting of the Parkers Prairie Pride of Lions was held January 2007 with over 20 women present. How great is that! (Thanks Jim)
Since then, our club has held several events and raised over $5,000 combined.
Our club is unique from other womens clubs; our clubs average age is in the 40's and several of our members have had children since signing. Future Lions club members!
We are especially proud of all of our members and will continue to support, brighten and encourage the future of America!
