Welcome to the North Newmarket Lions Club Website

The North Newmarket Lions Club was Chartered on May 24, 1982 with 56 members. The Charter President was Lion Ellerby Farr, and the Extension Chair was Lion Ernie Crossland. We are currently home to 46 members, and have a goal of having 55 members by the end of the 2009-2010 Lions year. with more hands come more Service.  

The North Newmarket Lions Club is home to many past, current, and future District A-16 Leaders. We are always looking for Community Minded People who would like to Make a Difference in their Community. Lions are Ordinary People Creating Miracles Through Service

Lions Clubs International was voted the Best Non-Governmental Organization, in 2008, by the Financial Times, and have been nominated by Former United States President Jimmy Carter, himself a Lion for over 50 years, for the Noble Peace Prize.
