Shell Knob Lions Club should have running water at the CCC Park this Fall after spending many months getting approval for our solution from all agencies involved.  Our club maintains this park which is under the National Forest Service.  It is a major asset to the community which we are striving to hang on to since the Forest Service does not wish to invest funds to it.  The toilets must also be replaced since it was the leakage which poisoned the water well.  Instead of doing our own Military care packages, we are donating funds to the local VFW for their mailings 4 times a year.  We have many interesting and informative programs for our evening dinner meetings.
