The Steinbach and Area Lions meet on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month from September through June at 6:30 p.m. at the South East Helping Hands Foodbank on Main street in Steinbach, Manitoba.

Our main focus is on individual medical needs in the community with emphasis on mobility. Powered wheelchairs, walkers, canes, wheelchair cushions, scooters and equipment are where we concentrate our efforts.

We also participate in eyeglasses recycling through the Lions Eye-Bank of Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario. This past year we have sent over 5 thousand pairs of glasses to the Eye-Bank and on to CLERC (The Canadian Lions Eyeglass Recycling Centre) in Calgary.

We welcome any Lion to come visit us at one of our meetings and enjoy the fellowship and comradery of Lionism.
