ALPINE LIONS CLUB ANNUAL ROSE SALE A BIG SUCCESS

The Alpine Lions Club, and its members, completed its Annual Lions Club Rose Sale on Friday, March 27. Roses sold for $15.00 per dozen and all proceeds go towards Club projects for the community. In addition, funds are contributed to the Sul Ross State University Scholarship Endowment. Sanderson Lions Club also participated in our annual sale.

IMPORTANT DISTRICT CABINET DATES:

The District 2-T3 Mid-Winter Conference was held February 20-21 in Pecos, Texas. There was an excellent repesentation form throughout the district. On Saturday the regular Cabinet meeting was held, and at the same time, the various District Youth Contests were conducted. Winners of the contests were announced at the Noon Luncheon. A great time was had by all who attended. The Annual District Convenetion will meet in El Paso May 22-23, 2009. Details will be avaialbe shortly.
