Notes from AURG -
Time: From 9am
Date: Sunday 6 September 2009
Location: Ken Jones Park
What to bring: Hat, long sleeve shirt and trousers, boots, wheelbarrow, fork, shovel, mattock, gloves etc.
We are hoping to plant about 2400 plants on Sunday. This is a big task in itself. We are also hoping for a large number of the public to be there, hopefully about 80 or more people!
There are a number of tasks to do on the day from set up to depending on the level of experience of the public we will need to instruct them in how to plant trees. We also have to spread mulch! We will need to undertake inductions and sign ups for the public as well as catering for morning tea and lunch!!!
