The club held a joint Christmas Party with the Shade Gap Area Lions Club. There were sixty adults and six children in attendance. Christmas Candy sales concluded in November. The club distributed fifty cheer baskets to seniors and shut ins for Christmas. The club donated $200.00 to a Council of the Blind Chapter for White Cane Day. The club donated $1500.00 to the March of Dimes for 2009. The fund raiser square dance is scheduled for March 20, 2010. The club has placed a float in three parades this year, winning second place in two of them for their category. The club awarded three $500.00 scholarships to high school seniors, and made the presentations at three different schools by club members. The club participated in the clean up of the Waterloo Cemetery. The club operated the fundraising trailer at the Shade Gap Picnic, and the Path Valley Picnic. The club donated $500.00 towards the facility upgrades at the PA Lions Beacon Lodge Camp, three members helped bar b q chicken for appreciation day. The club now has FOUR ladies as members, two of them are vice presidents.
