     We are well into our Vision Screening Project. We have completed screening at 13 schools so far. We have two more scheduled at this time. They are:

October 29 - McDowell Adult Learning Center

November 12, 2009 - Schmidtt Elementary School

          To date we have screened 2,349 children this year. One or more Columbus Lions Members have assisted with the Vision Screening at Laynesville, Greensburg, Mooresville, Hope, and Franklin. beside those here in Columbus.

If you would like information on becoming a Certified Vision Screener or to set up a Vision Screening. Please contact me. We are always looking for more people to serve.

      We added one new member to our Club at our September 8th meeting. We welcome Amy Baker as our newest member. Anyone interested in becoming a Lions please let me know.
