Meetings

ANNIVERSARY:  Chartered in 1939, we'll be celebrating our 70th anniversary this November.  Over the years, the club has supported a variety of community projects and endeavors.  Eyeglasses for the needy, Boy Scout Troop 94, Littlestown Good Old Days, and Littlestown Schools are among the many that have benefited from the Lions Club fund-raising efforts.

SCHOLARSHIPS:  We congratulate Adams-Hanover Outstanding Young Woman Erica Carbaugh of Delone Catholic High School who was selected during the Lion's Club's annual Scholarship pageant in April.  The Club has raised and provided scholarships totaling more than $75,000 since its inception in 1962.  The 2010 program, open to junior girls in the Adams County and Southwestern and Hanover Schhol Districts, will be held April 24 at Littlestown High School.  Information is available from Lion Chairperson Janice Oaster at 359-7182.

NEW MEMBERS:  The Club is always looking for new members interested in suporting the Littlestown community.  Prospective members are welcome at any Club meeting.  More information is available by contacting Lion Don Tesno at 359-1306.
