WELCOME TO THE LIONS CLUB OF MASAKA WEBSITE
The Lions Club of Masaka is a service organisation under Lions Clubs International that was chartered on February 15, 1993 with five Charter members. To-date the Club has been serving the community around Masaka District and neighbouring areas, Rakai, Lyantonde to mention but a few.
DISTRICT GOVERNOR VISIT LIONS CLUB OF MASAKA
The District Governor for District 411B, Lion Kamal Joshi with his gracious lady and daughter visited Lions Club of Masaka on Friday 30th October 2009. The Governor on arrival was received by a team of members from the Club led by the Club President Lion Jimmy Ogwang. The District Governor was accompanied by the Regional Chairperson, Region D, Lion Robert Munanura.
They visited the office of the Resident District Commissioner, Masaka and exchanged pleasantries as well as have a few word with the officers in the RDC's office. Later he was hosted to a colorful reception by the Children of Lions Nursery School who entertained him. At the end of the entertainement programme he delivered a short speech and thereafter planted a tree to commemorate his visit.

The District Governor later conducted a Board meeting with members of Lions Club of Masaka. He inducted two new members into the Club, Ln Otim Robert and Ln Orema Vincent. He left for Kampala at around 3:00pm after concluding his visit to the Club.
WORLD SERVICE DAY 2009
Lions Club of Masaka marked World Service Day 2009 with an activity of painting two Zebra Crossing in Masaka Town on 10th October 2009. One zebra crossing was painted on Kampala Road and another one on Elgin Street. The activity brought a lot of excitement to the community with Masaka Town.

Lions Club of Masaka Chartered a new Leos Club at Muteesa I Royal University on 10th October 2009 at a ceremony presided over by Ln David Mutayisa at the University. 30 new Leo members were inducted into the Club bringing the number of Leos to 50.
