Joyce Keels (2005-2006) The first woman to serve as governor of District 31-B

Tom Keels (deceased) served as governor of District 31-E 1983-1984 prior to joining the Mooresville LIons Club

Steve Sheline served as governor of District 31-C 1998-1999 prior to joining the Mooresville Lions Club

Sponsor of 14 new clubs, one Leo Club and honored with two Guiding Lion Awards

 

 in 2006The Helen Keller Club Branch was formed  

 From 1941 until 2008 An Old Time Fiddler's and Bluegrass Convention was held as a fundraiser. In 2009 it was replaced with a Golf Tornament
