Meetings

On July 18th the Neenah Lions and A Fish Tale & More served 50 children hot dogs and fished off Island Park from 9:00 - noon. The children caught some fish and had a wonderful time.

Community Fest July 4th at Riverside Park was again a great success. Chairman Dennis Rockow said we had 13 Lions and 8 volunteers cook Brats, Burgers, Hot Dogs, Pulled Pork, and Nacho's. It was a beautiful sunny day filled with events for children and families. The day ended with Neenah's great fireworks show.

Timber Rattlers on June 30th was enjoyed by all Lions and their families. The evening was beautiful and we won.

Roses sales 2009 was a great success for our club. We sold over 300 dozen and on March 28 and 29th delivered 550 dozen. Thank you Neenah!

Street Ball 2009 was a huge success ran by Chairman Roy Holz and food by Ed Goodsmith. We had 14 Lions and 6 vlounteers cook hot dogs, brats, burgers, and also served pulled pork, nacho's and drinks while over 330 basketball teams competed over two days. the weather was absolutely terrific and a great time had by all.

Our Beer Fest chaired by Howard and Maggie Johnson was a great afternoon at the Rodeo enjoying food from 8 sponsors and Brews from two sponsors. We had music played by Anita Banjak and Scott. They got the party going while enjoying the day

 Our main projects for this year includes Rose Sales, Street Ball, and Community Fest. Community support includes: Ramps; Wisconsin Lions Camp; Boys & Girls Brigade; Leader Dogs; Lamer's Bus Service for the Disabled; Eye glasses & Hearing aids recycling; Riverside Playground equipment; Doty Park Gazebo; Aquatic Wheelchairs for Neenah Pool; Mission to Mexico; Green Park resoration; and large format books for Neenah library.
