Each month we provide Angel Food Ministries frozen food packages for two local families.  In addition we are collecting personal items, those not available with food stamps, for these families.  They include toothpaste and tooth brushes, deodorant, paper towels, toilet tissue, dish detergent, child and baby items:  diapers, wipes, baby food, bottles, etc.  Our members provide many of these items.  Anyone who could use our help please call Frank Armstrong 330-227-9671 or Larry Webber 330-227-3123.

 Our next Roast Beef Dinner will be held at the Crestview High School on March 20, 2010 from 4-7pm.  The menu includes roast beef, mashed potatos, gravy, green beans, apple sauce, cole slaw, pies, cakes, iced tea, lemonade and coffee.  The food is served "family style".  Pre-sale tickets are $8.50 for adults and $4.00 for children under 12 years old.  Please call Ellis Hawkins, 330-457-2497 for tickets.  Tickets may be purchased at the door, $9.50 for adults and $4.50 for children.  Please join us for a delicious meal!

 We are sponsoring a new Lions Club in East Palestine, Ohio.  Thanks to the hard work of Governor Don Heldman, his wife Zone Chair Ruby, PDG Paul Metrivich and his wife Lion Linda and many others we now have a core group of dedicated individuals anxious to serve the residents of East Palestine.
