Program – Induction and Awards. Jim Terrell, Past Council chair conducted an induction of new members. New members inducted were Thetford Moore sponsored by Tom Hays and Julie Perman.sponsored by Peter Anderson.

25 Year Recognition Pin given to Ed Fitts
Presentation of Year Round Growth Award
Community Service Award given to Frank Goheen for his work at the Lost & Found Café
Service Award given to Gary McBurney for the Poinsettia Project
The four legged chicken award was given to Karen Perez

Program
Teresa Baldwin Superintendent of Washougal Schools gave a presentation concerning the Replacement Levies for Maintenance and Operations and Technology. The mail in election is Tuesday February 9, 2010. As Theresa pointed out this is a replacement levy and will not increase the amount that residents are already paying. It is very important for the district that this levy passes.

Blood Drive – No firm date or location has been set yet.
 
Health Screening is February 15th at Treasure House. The volunteer schedule has been sent around and is full thank you!
 
Work is being done with the City of Washougal concerning a welcome sign and a place for organization signs
 
The Poinsettia Project went very well. We made over $700.00. Thank you Gary. Next year we will arrange an earlier delivery date.

The membership orientation manual is a work in progress and should be made into a booklet by the next meeting
 
A Major milestone is coming up, our 70th anniversary. We need information from past celebrations, and some history.
 
The MD – 19 Convention is March 12th and 13th. We would like to see a good showing of members from our club go. It is in Kelso and is a beach theme. The Club has money budgeted to help off set costs.

Ted presented the financial report and it included the Budget Income, Budget Expense, YTD Actual Income and YTD Actual Expenses.

Poinsettia project went well, and Gary will give a report at the next meeting.
A Blood Drive is being scheduled for the last week of January or Mid February. It will be held at the Washougal High School
The Health Screening will be February 15th at Treasure House.
Work is being done with the City of Washougal concerning community signs at the entry of Washougal
There will be induction of new members at the January 26th meeting.
Fireworks work will start soon
The Cruise in will be worked in with the museum celebration. Pendleton is not sure about us using the lot at this time. We would like to talk with Dave again and get some more pointers

Karen is working on the quarterly family fun night

Tom Crozier from the Camas/Washougal Rotary Club spoke to us about the opportunity for a scholarship at College Level to study abroad for 2 years. This scholarship is for the year 2011. If any one is interested contact the Rotary Club

Gary reported that poinsettias can be sold until December 10th. They will be delivered to Treasure House for members to pick up and deliver to the people they sold to. We are getting about 150 delivered
Now is the time to organize the 70 year celebration
Need a committee and a chair to organize the event.

Meeting Calendar – There will be a quarterly family night. Activities will be decided on.
 
Christmas Dinner timeline is 6pm gather, 6:15 dinner and 6:45 Carolers sing. We will pay the Carolers $100.
